Patsy Quilt Pattern

Meet Patsy, the second quilt in the C.R. 822 Quilt Series! Inspired by potholders created on a simple hand loom, the quilts in the C.R. 822 quilt series follow that simple concept of ‘weaving’ colors together to create a multitude of familiar patterns. They celebrate color and simplicity with a hint of nostalgia. The patterns are available individually or as a bundle in the shop.

Patsy

6 sizes: Baby, Lap, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King

Patsy is a colorful twist on a buffalo plaid! It comes in two versions: The Full Rainbow and the Half Rainbow. The full features 10 of your favorite colors plus two background colors. The Half Rainbow uses 5 colors plus the two background colors.

The Full Rainbow version is so FUN! Global Fiber has put a kit together for this Ruby Star Society Speckled cover version. Ours is the throw but it would be amazing in any size!

Half Rainbow

The Half Rainbow is just as fun as the full but works for a more selective color range. 5 colors is perfect for creating that horizontal fade with the combo of your choice.

This Christmas version (REPLACE PHOTO WITH CORRECT QUILT) can be found at Lamb and Loom and the ones below can be found at Global Fiber Shop.

My favorite way to pick colors for Norma Jean, and all of the C.R. 822 Series quilts is to start with the backing fabric. I find something I really love and then pull colors from it. Most of my samples use the Ruby Star Speckled fabrics and I used my color cards to pick the perfect combo. (Get notified of the next available batch of RSS Speckled swatch cards here!)

We would love for you to check out the other quilts in the series! Norma Jean and Peggy are just as fun, colorful, and perfect for any occasion!
