Peggy Quilt Pattern

Meet Peggy, the third quilt in the C.R. 822 Quilt Series! Inspired by potholders created on a simple hand loom, the quilts in the C.R. 822 quilt series follow that simple concept of ‘weaving’ colors together to create a multitude of familiar patterns. They celebrate color and simplicity with a hint of nostalgia. The patterns are available individually or as a bundle in the shop.

Peggy comes in three versions! The three color version featured in our cover, a multi-color version which allows for more colors, and a rainbow version where each strip of colors is different. So much fun!!

Three Color

This was my original vision for the quilt and I love, love love how it simplifies everything. It’s easy on the eyes, meditative to make, and such a beauty when it is done. You can find this cover and the pink one as kits at Global Fiber Shop.

Multi-Color

Sometimes you just can’t narrow it down to just 3 colors and you just gotta add in some more of your favorites! This version allows just that! This throw size uses 5 colors and you can get the kit from Global Fiber.

Thanks, Abby, for making such a gorgeous sample!!

Rainbow

Unfortunately we did not get one of these made before we released the pattern but I cannot wait to see this quilt in real life sometime very soon!!

My favorite way to pick colors for Norma Jean, and all of the C.R. 822 Series quilts is to start with the backing fabric. I find something I really love and then pull colors from it. Most of my samples use the Ruby Star Speckled fabrics and I used my color cards to pick the perfect combo. (Get notified of the next available batch of RSS Speckled swatch cards here!)

We would love for you to check out the other quilts in the series! Norma Jean and Peggy are just as fun, colorful, and perfect for any occasion!
