Wholesale Accounts
Welcome, Wholesale Partners!
We have had quite an interest in the wholesale ordering of our quilt patterns - what a delight! We’ve worked hard to bring our printed patterns to you in a way that seems sustainable for our small time capabilities and expenditures. As we are just beginning and learning, feedback is welcome and adjustments are highly likely. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience, your support, and your enthusiasm for our work.
If you are new here, please read through all the information below before applying for a wholesale account with Trace Creek Quilting.
What does TCQ offer for wholesale?
At this time TCQ is offering physical printed versions of our quilt patterns for wholesale purchasing. You can find those patterns listed here.
Digital resale of TCQ patterns is not yet available to most retailers, though we are exploring all options and keeping ourselves open to those interested in creative collaboration.
Our Patterns:
Trace Creek Quilting’s patterns are printed to fit our own high standards. They are full 8.5” x 11” page patterns printed in full color with full bleed. They are stapled and then folded in half and wrapped in a cover page. This brings the pattern to a displayable 5.5” x 8.5” with the cover photo, skill level, and quilt sizes on front and some basic fabric requirements on the back for easy display in a typical space in a quilt shop.
We use 60# paper whenever available so the full color doesn’t show through but a customer would be willing and able to make notes on the pattern itself.
Every pattern has it’s own unique UPC code obtained from Nationwide Barcode which provides unique GTIN-12 (UPC) bar codes and certifies that these numbers have never been previously used nor associated with any other products.
Who can apply:
Wholesale pricing is available to approved retail businesses with a valid resale certificate or tax exemption documentation where required by law.
How to apply:

How TCQ patterns can/can not be resold after wholesale purchasing:
TCQ patterns acquired via wholesale are intended for in-person sales such as in brick and mortar or pop-up type settings.
TCQ patterns acquired via wholesale MAY NOT be listed online as a stand alone pattern unless a prior agreement has been made.
TCQ patterns may accompany kits of the corresponding pattern being sold in-person and/or online.
TCQ patterns may not be sold on third-party marketplaces (such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or Walmart Marketplace) by anyone other than Trace Creek Quilting.
Each pattern purchase grants the retailer the right to sell that physical copy only; copying, scanning, printing or emailing the pattern is prohibited.
Teaching Classes using TCQ Patterns:
Patterns may be used for in-person classes though each student registered must purchase their own individual pattern.
If an online class is held, online sales of the pattern should be made through TCQ. In-person pattern purchases can be handled by the retailer. Each class participant must purchase their own individual pattern.
Pricing:
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Current wholesale price list supersedes previous versions.
Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $16. It should be noted that at TCQ we list our printed patterns at $20 and you are welcome to do the same.
Current Order Parameters:
Current wholesale pricing is $10/pattern unless otherwise noted.
Minimum order is 6 patterns.
You may order a variety of patterns to meet the minimum, all 6 do not need to be the same pattern.
Order 12 or more patterns and receive free shipping if we can ship in one shipment.
Ordering and Invoicing:
Place your order through the button at the top of this page.
We typically process orders and create invoices on Mondays. At that time we will send an invoice via email and let you know the status of our stock and estimated shipping times. You are welcome to reach out about stock and timelines before placing an order.
If all is in stock, we will ship your order within 3 business days of the invoice being paid online.
Returns and Cancelations:
Once a package has shipped it is not eligible for returns or cancelations.
To cancel a paid order that has not yet shipped, the retailer must contact us in writing via email (tracecreekquilting@gmail.com) and request to cancel the order.
If an order has been paid for but not yet shipped, and the retailer wishes to cancel the order, money can be refunded if the retailer saved their credit card payment within our invoicing system. If not then the return process will require us chatting on the phone and gathering the credit card information that was used at the time of the original transaction.
We will work with a retailer on items that were damaged during shipping. Assistance with damaged items should be requested via email to tracecreekquilting@gmail.com within 7 days of the order being delivered and must be accompanied by photos of the damaged packaging and items.
The Terms & Conditions above are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. When applying for a wholesale account, applicants will be asked to agree to these terms and conditions.
