Join the Longarm League!

The League is a membership that brings longarm quilters together and provides resources to help their businesses thrive!

Jess, the founder of the Longarm League says it best:

“The nature of our work puts us on our own islands with these huge pieces of equipment and no coworkers!  If you're going it alone, we want that to change.

The League is all about supporting each other with enthusiasm, warmth and transparency. If you are someone who wants to serve others with your beautiful quilting and feel great about it, join us!”

Why I Love The Longarm League

Two words: Support and Community! Also Encouraging. And Positive, Affirming, and Fun! Okay, I guess that was 6 words, but they all apply! First and foremost I would say that I have found an invaluable resource in the team behind the League. Jess, Josh, and Cheryl. Because they have been the cross point for so many of us longarmers, the knowledge and experience they have to redistribute is more helpful than I ever imagined. I swear Jess knows most longarmers across the country and what makes each one of them unique and Josh is my favorite for a lively conversation about the business side of things!

Just as importantly are the connections I’ve made through the league. I’ve gotten to meet longarmers and panto designers that I’ve admired for years and encourage new quilters coming up in the business. I am a part of two different business buddy type groups - one where we have structured conversations and chat business, and one that’s smaller and more intimate where we can talk about our mistakes, the crazy parts of the job, and more personal goals. In each, I find encouragement, support, and friendship. Everyone lifts everyone up and as a result, we all rise!

There is much, much more to the League. The monthly free pantographs, the weekly business calls, the online discussions, being listed in the online directory….. Wherever you are in your longarm business journey, the league has something for you! I’m always more than happy to chat with anyone wanting to know more from a member’s perspective.
