I HEART this Summer QAL

Do you love hearts? Do you love quilts?? ME TOO! And if you are here then you probably already know about the Summer of Hearts Quilt A-Long from Megan Collins. She has five, that’s right, FIVE excellent heart patterns and tutorials for you to use as you make the heart quilt you’ve always wanted. Love & Stitches, Meant to Be, Patchwork Heart, Odd Shaped Scraps, and Layer Cake Heart.

I was fortunate enough to longarm the cover quilt for Love & Stitches when it was released in 2020. I not only sponsored that QAL as well, I also participated in it and made this pink and purple scrappy version. As you can see, it was snatched away by what was then my ‘pink is everything’ 4 year old. It’s a much loved quilt to this day!

So let’s talk pantographs for the Summer of Love QAL. There is no doubt that many, many pantos would work perfectly for these quilts, but I think the obvious choice for starting out is the Heart section of our pantograph library. I’ve pulled a few of them out for you to see below.
